OMC Scientific has the capability to manufacture, modify and repair component parts. This reduces the need for shield replacement and reduces customer's inventory replenishment costs.

Epitaxial Reactor Services
OMC Scientific has a dedicated state of the art refurbishment and test facility for the disassembly, decontamination, clean, reassembly and test of epitaxial components. We have the capabilities to offer Reactor Filter Trap Decontamination, Rebuild and Vacuum Testing. We also have the capability to high temperature treat graphite susceptors and planets.

Twin Wire Arc Spray
OMC Scientific has the capability to perform component surface texturing with a variety of wires. Arc spray offers customers a number of benefits. These include improved particle performance, reduced need for chemical processing, increased kit chamber life and improved shield life.

CO2
OMC Scientific has the capability to perform CO2 snow cleaning. CO2 snow cleaning is a surface cleaning method in which a high velocity stream of carbon dioxide gas and small dry ice particles is directed towards a surface. The interaction between the solid and gaseous CO2 and the surface particulate and hydrocarbon contamination results in precision surface cleaning. Cleaning with CO2 snow leads to particle removal (even micron and sub micron sized particulates), hydrocarbon and silicone stain removal, and reductions in adventitious hydrocarbons.

Logistics
OMC Scientific provides door-to-door shield collection and drop off.
Process components shall be double packaged in cleanroom compatible bags. In addition OMC also have the experience and design/manufacturing capabilities to provide custom manufactured boxes, inclusive of foam insert protection. The boxes ensure fragile and delicate parts can be transported safely and securely, which minimises transportation damage.

Chamber Kit Management
OMC Scientific has the experience and ability to perform total chamber management from removal to re-installation. OMC are willing to enter into a program that allows us to perform total kit management. This would include kit disassembly, inspection, offsite / onsite cleaning, reassembly, inspection, package and test.
